As part of its continued commitment to the fitness community, Reebok is unveiling a new bonus program for athletes competing in Madison, WI later this month that will help further increase payout opportunities for athletes throughout the competition.
The Reebok Bonus program will offer competing athletes in Madison the opportunity to earn monetary bonuses for reaching certain performance levels throughout the competition. Reebok bonuses will be awarded to first and second place finishers for all eligible events with the condition that the athlete is wearing a version of the Reebok Nano, Reebok Legacy Lifter II, or Reebok Floatride athletic footwear for the duration of that event, where footwear is required. Payouts to athletes who meet above criteria will be:
- Individual/Teams* Divisions: $10,000 for first place finishers; $2,000 for second place finishers
- Masters/Teens/Adaptive Divisions: $1,000 for first place finishers; $500 for second place finishers
“Heading into this year’s competition, we wanted to do something for the athletes that could help them continue to pursue their love of this sport. We know these are all individuals who invest not only their time and energy, but in many cases, their own savings into following their passion,” said Kristen Fortin, Global Marketing Director at Reebok. “We set this program up as a way to support and reward so many of the athletes that make up this incredible community and continue to inspire us on a daily basis.”
There is no cap limit on how many events a competitor can earn a bonus in. However, to be eligible an athlete must sign a participation agreement with Reebok prior to an event taking place.
