The final workouts of the weekend included a pair of grueling challenges for the CrossFitters: the Chipper and the Duel. That final event was particularly well named, as the single-elimination bracket format would help indirectly settle the two head-to-head battles that defined the entire competition: Justin Medeiros v. Pat Vellner and Tia Toomey v. Annie Thorisdottir.
