It seems like everyone out there thinks in order to lose fat one must run. No matter what else someone is doing, they won’t lose fat till they start incorporating running but is that actually true? In short the answer is no but watch the video to find out why. Another misconception is that more sweat means more calories being burned and that results in more fat being “melted” or burned off. Is that true? NO! Work equals force times distance so unless you are exerting more force or elongating the distance, the amount of work done in both cases will be the same. Temperature has nothing to do with the amount of work being done. If that was true wouldn’t people just exercise inside a sauna or steam room??
