I headed to the Jersey Shore Mecca, Atilis Gym, for an insane arm workout with Matt and Johnny. We had a killer workout starting off with biceps, then finishing with some great tricep exercises. I had an arm pump of all arm pumps during this workout, and that was definitely related to the NEW pre workout that I had before the workout, which was, GAT’s NitraFlex. Besides the workout, I talk to you guys briefly about the benefits of a cheat meal. When you are dieting, your leptin levels greatly decrease, which leads you to feeling hungry all the time. Other then you leptin levels being low, with most diets you will reach a “plateau” where you get to a point where you won’t be losing any more weight. This is a very frustrating time, but this is when you throw in that cheat meal! By having a cheat meal, you will greatly increase your leptin levels, thus boosting your metabolism. When your metabolism increases, you will begin to burn more calories, thus crack that plateau and begin to lose even more fat and weight!

Now when you are in the offseason like myself, a weekly cheat meal is beneficial because it really allows you to consume more calories. During a “bulking” phase, you want to be in a caloric surplus, so by having a cheat meal every week, that is especially high in calories, you will easily reach that point of a caloric surplus!
