Does Fasted Cardio Burn More Fat? This is one of the most common questions I get asked in regards to Fasted Cardio so I was pumped to be able to get a quick video out about this topic!

What exactly is fasted cardio?

Fasted cardio is doing cardio at a “fasted” state, which ultimately means doing cardio first thing in the morning before having anything to eat/drink!

With this being the case and by doing cardio at a “fasted” state you will be converting your bodies current fat stores for energy rather than utilizing the current glucose in the system as you would be doing had you have had something to eat prior to doing the session.

Regards to the fat that is burned during fasted cardio, more than any other form of fat burning exercise, when done in a fasted state like this you will have a greater ability to target the stubborn fat stores on your body, which include the hips and thighs for women as well as the abs and lower back for men.

All in all, I really like Fasted Cardio and all that it offers. I truly believe it burns more fat then regular cardio would after you have a few meals in you! Like I mentioned in the video, I typically do 30 minutes of Fasted Cardio every morning on the Stair Master, and the results are incredible!
