In today’s Sunday Series Episode, I will be covering the Top 3 Workout Tips For Beginners! These tips are the main 3 that I wish I knew of when I first began my fitness journey!

Top 3 Workout Tips For Beginners

1. Follow a Program

First and foremost, if you are new to the gym you are going to want to follow a program, especially one from such places like Bodybuilding.com! Bodybuilding.com offers great programs that are FREE that come with tons of instructional material on how to correctly perform the exercises at hand! Each of their programs have videos that go along with them, as well as, detailed pictures, that are super helpful! They do a really good job breaking down their workout programs, and explain to you why you are doing certain lifts, sets and reps! If you are new to the gym, these programs will help you get started and put you on the right path for success!

2. Track Your Progress

Each week take a picture of your physique, and compare it to the weeks previous! By taking pictures week after week, you’ll be able to see all the changes that are occurring, which will be super helpful and rewarding! Besides the pictures, log your weights for the workouts, as you will be able to track your progress here as well!

3. Do Not Skip Leg Day

You heard it here, do not skip leg day! I know how big of a pain leg day can be, especially when you are starting out in the gym, but I promise it is a HUGE help to building the rest of your physique, and something you guys do not want to skip! Trust me, you don’t want to be that guy in the funny leg day memes haha.
