Top Shoulder Exercises For Overall Development

Some of the most frequent questions I get asked are about specific exercises one should be doing if they are looking to build and bring up a muscle group. As mentioned above, in today’s video I talk about my top 3 shoulder exercises that I do daily when it comes to overall development of my delts. I break down each exercise in depth, and provide tips on how to perform each to get the best bang for your buck, and even list the number of sets and reps I do for each exercise.

The Top 3 Shoulder Exercises are listed below⬇

1. Standing Barbell Overhead Press

This is by far one of my favorite shoulder exercises, as it is a great compound lift! If done correctly, this exercise targets all 3 heads of the deltoid, which greatly helps with your shoulders overall development! I typically do this exercise for 5 Sets of 6-10 Reps.

2. Standing Dumbbell Side Raises

If you are looking to build up that medial head (side head) of the shoulder, this should be you go to exercise! I typically do this exercise for 4 Sets of 12-15 Reps.

3. Cable Rope Face Pulls

A great exercise that targets those rear delts, which tie in super nicely with your back. I typically do this exercise for 4 Sets of 12-15 Reps.
