With deep sadness we report a second legendary bodybuilder has passed away in less than a week. The six district medical examiner in Florida has confirmed that Rich Piana has passed away this morning in a Florida hospital after collapsing while getting a haircut in his apartment on August 7, 2017. After he collapsed he was rushed to the hospital and had been 3 weeks in a comma following this medical emergency. A police search of his apartment revealed more than 20 bottles of steroids and white powder were found but it unclear if any of these substances played a rule in his medical emergency or death.
Rich Piana was 46 years old and had competed in several bodybuilding competitions. Our condolence goes out to all his family, friend and fans.
